Are you enjoying your summer vacation? I am! However, as I'm relaxing around the pool, I'm also making plans for an outstanding year of learning for my shining stars of 2010-2011!
Incoming 4th graders you should be reading a bit everyday...you don't want to lose all that you learned from your terrific third grade teacher last year, I'm sure. So be prepared to tell us about a book you read over the summer. Plus I hope your journaling about your super summertime fun! We'll want to hear all about it in your first personal narrative you'll be writing about our first week.
Work on your math facts, you will have the opportunity to "show what you know" right off the bat when you complete your first math assessment to determine your placement in one of our fantastic flexible math groups!!
